MINI ROUND ELEPHANT GRASS BASKET
A Mini Round Elephant Grass Basket handwoven by artisans in West Africa from Kinkanhe straw. Great for children, storing smaller items around the home or for the garden. Features a durable leather handle.
Bolga basket weaving is a Ghanaian craft from the Bolgatanga region. Kinkanhe or elephant grass surrounds waterholes and once harvested is soaked in water and then twisted together in small bunches to increase durability.
Note: As a handmade product subtle variations in size and colour add to a unique character and appeal.
