It is always the simple things in life that children enjoy the most. Give them a fancy toy and they'll be interested for five minutes. But let them loose with a garden hose and there goes the rest of the afternoon. Needless to say with this shoot for real living, which is in the current JanFeb 11 issue, I left the water shot until the very end. And the kids had a blast - literally.
I was really excited about the shoot, as I got a chance to work with photographer Hugh Stewart, who now lives in Australia after working extensively overseas. His portfolio is impressive, and the portraits alone on his website are worth a look.
