One store that I visited many times while working on decorating shoots pre-Christmas was No Chintz. This is the place where I got the felt pom poms for one of the wreaths some of you were asking about. It's also where I like to just stop for a moment during a busy sourcing session and take a look around. The Woollahra store has so many goodies, and offers so many possibilities as to what you can create. Meet the woman behind No Chintz, owner Chrissie Jeffrey.
Which five words best describe you? Ebullient, hard-working, creative, compassionate, well-fed!
How did you get your career start and what path have you taken since? In the late 1970s I graduated from East Sydney Tech and went to work for a soft furnishings company. Later on I started my own workroom and picked up amazing clients such as Ann Gyngell, Colefax & Fowler, Michael Love and Thomas Hamel.
What’s the best lesson you’ve learnt along the way? To make sure that the work we manufacture is made with care and consideration.

What’s your proudest career achievement? No Chintz. Putting together a textile range which is affordable and stylish.
What’s been your best decision? Marrying my husband Richard.
Who inspires you? I’m more inspired by life and nature.
What are you passionate about? Colour, pattern and being alive.
Which person, living or dead, would you most like to meet? Patricia Urquiola. I find her work whimsical, well made and it always brings a smile to my face.
What dream do you still want to fulfil? To do yoga everyday.
