BELL ELEPHANT GRASS BASKET
A perfectly imperfect Bell-Shaped Elephant Grass Basket handwoven by artisans in West Africa from Kinkanhe straw. Ideal for trips to the market and beach, toy basket, plant basket, or as a beautiful storage solution in and around the home. Features a large sturdy leather bound handle.
Bolga basket weaving is a Ghanaian craft from the Bolgatanga region. Kinkanhe or elephant grass surrounds waterholes and once harvested is soaked in water and then twisted together in small bunches to increase durability.
Note: As a handmade product subtle variations in size and colour add to a unique character and appeal.
Size 38cm across base x 30cm high. Opening approx 23-25cm.

Items are shipped from our Byron Bay warehouse twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For urgent shipping please email us on hello@ochreandsilk.com.au.
Ochre and Silk accepts returns within 14 days of delivery for change of mind. Items must be in original, unused condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Custom made items and those purchased on sale are not eligible for return.
