PAPIER-MÂCHÉ POT | BLACK VERTICAL STRIPE
A papier-mâché pot designed by Belgian interior designer Marie Michielssen. Inspired by the re-use of materials, in this instance, recycled paper, Michielssen playfully explores form and volume to create this beautiful one-of-kind object. The papier-mâché material creates a raw, organic surface and because each piece has been created by hand, no two are the same. Features a hand-stippled print in black and white vertical stripe.
As they are not water safe, we recommend creating a beautiful dried floral display or placing a smaller jar of water inside the vase for fresh stems. However, they are also striking enough to use as a stand-alone piece on your sideboard or table.
Please note that as each piece is handmade and hand-painted there may be slight changes in colour and size, and any subtle imperfections only add to the uniqueness and character of the pot.
