Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for change of mind. Items must be unused and in original condition. Return Label will be provided by Ochre and Silk. Original shipping will not be refunded.

The Saggar Ceramic Vase is a striking, one-of-a-kind decorative piece created through a meticulous handcrafting and firing process. This vase features stunning hues of pink, apricot, and deep purple — the result of saggar firing with Ferric Chloride, a process that ensures each vase is unique. Perfect as a unique artisan gift, standalone art object or a distinctive accent in a curated space.

Finish: Unglazed surface with color variations from Ferric Chloride saggar firing

Coloration: Varies from soft pinks and apricot to rich, deep purples depending on internal kiln temperature

Firing Process: Wrapped in aluminum foil after Ferric Chloride application and raku-fired to approx. 800 °C

Use: Decorative only — not glazed or watertight, not suitable for holding water or fresh flowers

Origin
Handmade in Mullumbimby by ceramicist & artist Jacqui Sosnowski using traditional techniques and alternative firing techniques. Each piece is singular and non-replicable due to the nature of saggar firing.
