PAPIER-MÂCHÉ EARTH TABLE LAMP | WHITE
A beautiful papier-mâché table lamp designed by Belgian interior designer Marie Michielssen. Inspired by the re-use of materials, in this instance, recycled paper, Michielssen plays with shape and proportion, this time exploring a spherical shape. A deconstruction led to an atmospheric lamp in which the light source remains invisible. The papier-mâché material creates a raw, organic surface and poetic atmosphere, balancing the object on the fine line between art and design.
Includes 2m black twisted cord. Bulb included. Suits bulb type G9. Australian plug-type.
Please note that as each piece is handmade there may be slight changes in colour and size, and any subtle imperfections only add to the uniqueness and character of the lamp.
