Pakurigo Wave Basket
Discover the artistry and heritage behind the Pakurigo Wave Basket, a sculptural storage basket handwoven in Ghana, using resilient natural elephant grass. Named after two master weavers who created this technique at a field trip to Ahmedabad in 2013, this signature “wave” form is now taught to many artisans in the Lome region, providing them a fair trade.
Each basket is a celebration of both craft and community. Durable, ethically made, 100% natural and eco friendly, it’s perfect for storing throws, toys, laundry or simply as a bold, textural statement piece. Very limited batch.
Functional. Sculptural. Rooted in culture.
Origin: Bolgatanga, Ghana
Size: Approximately 50cm w x 25cm deep.
Please note due to handmade nature of this item, slight variations and imperfections may be present. We believe this adds to the uniqueness of each product.
